WRC rejects Apleona employee’s overtime complaint

The Workplace Relations Commission found Anna Gruziola’s complaint against Apleona Ireland Limited was not well-founded in a decision dated 27 May 2026. Gruziola said Apleona had miscalculated her overtime entitlement after an earlier decision and that further compensation was due. Apleona disputed the claim and argued the legislation she relied on did not cover it. The adjudicator found the complaint concerned overtime calculations rather than working time, so the Organisation of Working Time Act did not apply.
