The Workplace Relations Commission did not uphold Pooja Patwa’s complaint that Icts discriminated against or harassed her because of her gender. Adjudication Officer Pat Brady dated the decision 22 October 2025. The WRC found that Patwa had not shown a connection between the events she described and an equality ground. Patwa said a third-party company employee pursued a personal relationship with her and that she was transferred and closely supervised after confronting him. Icts said her dismissal followed poor performance; its witness said he did not know of the relationship and made the dismissal decision on performance grounds. The adjudicator described the dismissal process as lacking procedural fairness, but said the Employment Equality Act did not allow a remedy for that issue. The complaint was not upheld, and no award was recorded.
