The Workplace Relations Commission found that Austin Lambe was unfairly dismissed by Irish Vintage Scene Ltd and awarded him €19,055.40 compensation. The decision was dated 3 October 2025.
Lambe alleged that a heated argument and the employer’s conduct made his resignation unavoidable, and said he withdrew his resignation the following day. The company did not attend the hearing. The adjudicator accepted Lambe’s account of oppressive and demeaning conduct and found the employer had acted unreasonably.
