The Workplace Relations Commission directed DigiSure (Ireland) Limited to pay Jay Dave €35,188.36 gross, less lawful deductions, after finding unlawful deductions from his wages. The decision, dated 23 May 2025, upheld his complaint under the Payment of Wages Act 1991.
Dave alleged underpaid salary from March to April 2024, unpaid salary through November 2024 and unpaid holiday pay. DigiSure did not dispute the later unpaid salary or holiday pay, but its CEO believed the earlier salary had been calculated correctly. The Commission found the full amount was properly payable and unlawfully deducted, relying on Dave’s evidence and documents showing the company acknowledged the wages were owed.
