The Workplace Relations Commission found K F Moda Ltd discriminated against Sandra Jackson by dismissing her on disability grounds and ordered €15,000 compensation. The decision, by adjudication officer Kara Turner, was dated 27 November 2025.
Jackson said a changed roster caused her difficulty and that, after she raised the issue and supplied letters, the company told her she was not well enough to work before terminating her employment. The company did not attend the hearing or make a substantive written submission. The WRC also ordered equality and disability training for staff responsible for employment decisions, followed by a review of employment and probation policies.
