The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Brendan Harte to pay former driver Colm Donnelly €15,000 in compensation, inclusive of unpaid annual leave, and €825.86 in wages. The decision was dated 21 January 2026.
Donnelly said he was owed annual leave and wages after working for Harte from 6 February 2017 to 26 February 2024. The adjudication officer found both complaints well founded, citing a lack of evidence that Harte ensured Donnelly took annual leave or warned him it would be lost. A separate complaint under mobile aviation worker regulations was withdrawn because Donnelly did not meet that definition.
