WRC rejects Iryna Ivashyna’s redundancy payment appeal against Adecco Ireland Limited

The Workplace Relations Commission found Iryna Ivashyna’s appeal against Adecco Ireland Limited was not well founded, after she did not dispute the dates and average payment used to calculate her redundancy entitlement. The WRC decision was dated 15 July 2025. Ivashyna said the redundancy payment was issued about four months after her employment ended and that she had to request it repeatedly. Adecco said she received the correct statutory payment and that her complaints about how it was administered were outside the matters that could be appealed under section 39 of the Redundancy Payments Act.
