The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) ordered The Meal Deals Limited, Lowza Bistro to pay former head chef Dylan Patel €890.50 for 6.85 days of outstanding annual leave. The decision was dated 24 March 2025. Patel said his employment ended on 29 September 2024 with leave still unpaid, although he accepted he had taken seven days. The company did not attend the hearing. A WRC adjudication officer accepted Patel’s evidence and found the complaint well founded.
