The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Gareth Mulhall’s three complaints against former employer Maurice Ward & Co. Limited. The decision, made by adjudication officer Valerie Murtagh, was dated 11 September 2025. The complaints concerned terms of employment, a €200 wage deduction and constructive dismissal after Mulhall resigned. The company said it refunded the deduction in his final pay. The WRC found no breach of the terms or wages laws and rejected the constructive dismissal complaint, finding that Mulhall resigned without using the grievance process or giving HR an opportunity to address the matter.
