The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Rana Shaheer Ebrahim’s complaint that his dismissal was discriminatory on race and religion grounds. A separate complaint was withdrawn. Adjudication Officer Niamh O'Carroll dated the decision 3 November 2025. Ebrahim said some recorded lateness was caused by access-card failures and alleged a racial slur and locker tampering. The National Gallery of Ireland said his agency contract was ended because of persistent lateness. The officer found no credible evidence establishing an inference of discrimination and preferred the Gallery’s countersigned records. Ebrahim accepted that a €366.61 payment settled his unpaid-wages claim.
