The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Rana Shaheer Ebrahim’s complaint that Osborne Hq discriminated against him on race and religion grounds. Adjudication Officer Niamh O'Carroll’s decision was dated 16 September 2025. Ebrahim alleged that a colleague used a racial slur and pork was placed in his locker; Osborne contested the allegations. The WRC said the evidence did not establish facts from which discrimination could be inferred and noted that the termination decision was made by the National Gallery of Ireland, where he had been assigned, rather than Osborne. Ebrahim withdrew a separate complaint. His pay claim was settled by a €366.61 payment he accepted.
