WRC rejects TikTok discrimination complaints over redundancy

The Workplace Relations Commission rejected both discrimination complaints brought by Viktorija Danilova against TikTok Technology Limited over its redundancy process. Danilova alleged she was treated less favourably while on maternity leave and that nationality affected her selection and access to alternative roles. The adjudicator found no evidence of discrimination, noting that colleagues who received interview assistance had applied for roles and Danilova had not. No award was recorded.
