The Workplace Relations Commission found Anton Mocanu’s three complaints against Glenview Commercials Limited not well founded after neither side attended the hearing. The decision was dated 15 April 2025. Because Mocanu was not present to proceed, the merits were not decided. Mocanu had alleged that he was not given written employment terms, was owed €10,128 in wages and four weeks’ holiday pay, and had not received pay for the 5 August 2024 public holiday. The company filed no defence and did not appear. The adjudicator said the absences prevented her from establishing whether a direct employment contract existed.
