WRC rejects Apple worker’s unfair dismissal complaint

The Workplace Relations Commission found Francesco Muro’s unfair dismissal complaint against Apple Distribution International Limited was not well founded. The decision was dated 23 February 2026. The company alleged that Muro made unauthorised changes to customer records and said audit logs linked them to his employee credentials. Muro denied making the changes and argued that system faults could have caused them. The adjudication officer found the company had reasonable evidence for its belief, followed fair procedures and acted proportionately in dismissing him.
