WRC dismisses employment terms complaint after neither party attends hearing

The Workplace Relations Commission found Viacheslav Huti’s complaint against Chambers Refrigeration Limited was not well-founded, after neither party attended the hearing. Adjudication Officer Christina Ryan dated the decision 1 July 2025. Huti’s complaint concerned section 7 of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act 1994. The WRC said hearing notices had been sent to both parties and that it later contacted the company after its notice was returned undelivered. With neither party present and no direct evidence, the officer dismissed the complaint; the decision did not determine its merits on evidence from either side.
