A WRC adjudication officer has awarded Adrian Achim €4,800 gross after finding that Pro-Res unfairly dismissed him without procedures or an investigation. Achim said the company dismissed him by email for alleged unauthorised absence after he had secured leave in advance. Pro-Res did not attend the hearing, and the officer accepted Achim’s evidence. The compensation represents four weeks’ salary for time he spent without work. The decision was dated 28 April 2025.
