The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Lucian Andrei Popa €2,500 for unfair dismissal and found he was owed €1,300 for accrued annual leave. In a decision dated 19 November 2025, the WRC upheld his complaints against Stephen O'Donovan Ltd.; a second unfair dismissal complaint was identified as a duplicate. Popa said he was dismissed without fair procedures and had not been paid for two weeks of accrued leave. The company did not attend the hearing. On Popa's uncontested account, the officer found he was dismissed without due process and that the leave payment remained unpaid.
