The Workplace Relations Commission has ordered Sortridge Limited t/a Packed House to pay David O'Shaughnessy €10,500 in unpaid bonuses. Adjudication Officer Marie Flynn found the complaint well founded in a decision dated 2 December 2024.
O'Shaughnessy said the company confirmed bonuses were due for 2021, 2022 and 2023, with €350 monthly instalments planned. He said six instalments were paid before the company entered liquidation. The liquidator did not dispute that €10,500 remained owed. Flynn found the unpaid amount was an unauthorised deduction from wages under the Payment of Wages Act 1991.
