WRC rejects three Securitas pay complaints as out of time

The Workplace Relations Commission found it had no jurisdiction over Drazen Ramljak’s three complaints against Securitas Security Services Ireland Limited, which concerned alleged underpayment, a pay change after a transfer and an attempted contract change. The decision was dated 23 January 2025. Ramljak said his hourly pay fell after he moved to another Clonee site in February 2022, when a site premium ended. The company argued that the complaints were filed too late. The adjudicator found they were outside the statutory time limit, including the possible extended period, and did not decide the claims on their merits.
