The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) awarded Kyle Tate €2,120 compensation after finding Oak Central Recruitment Services trading as Masterlink unfairly dismissed him. The decision was dated 28 March 2025. Tate said he was told his employment was terminated because he had not completed probation. The company said a mistake had been made and it had offered him his job back. The WRC found he had been dismissed and that the company had not shown a fair process. It could not address his additional requests for holiday and notice pay because they had not been included in his complaint and the time limit had passed.
