The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed Yasmin Kao’s Equal Status complaint against the Provost, Fellows, Foundation Scholars and other members of the Board of the College of the Holy and Undivided Trinity of Queen Elizabeth near Dublin, finding it had no jurisdiction because statutory notice was late. The decision was dated 28 January 2025. Kao alleged victimisation over an investigation into discrimination complaints and the College’s refusal to assign her a different research supervisor. The adjudicator treated these as separate alleged acts and found reasonable cause to extend the notice period had not been established. The allegations were not substantively determined.
