The Workplace Relations Commission ordered The Food Point Limited to pay Jasmina Yassine €1,372.05 for unpaid November salary and accrued leave, and €118.95 for unpaid Sunday work, plus €500 compensation for breach of statutory rights. It found her notice-pay complaint not well founded because she had not worked the 13 weeks required for statutory minimum notice. In a decision dated 10 February 2025, the WRC declined jurisdiction over Yassine’s minimum-wage complaint because she had not requested a written statement of her average hourly rate. The decision said she could re-enter the complaint after complying with that requirement, subject to time limits. The company accepted the unpaid wages and leave claim and had offered a payment plan of about €90 a month, which Yassine did not accept.
