The Workplace Relations Commission ordered The Food Point Limited to pay Cadmilo Brandao €1,858.62 in unpaid November salary and accrued annual leave. It also upheld his claim for unpaid Sunday work, awarding €373.58 for financial loss and €500 compensation. Brandao’s minimum-wage complaint could not be heard because he had not requested the required average-rate statement. His separate claim for payment in lieu of notice was rejected because he had not worked the 13 weeks required for statutory notice.
