The Workplace Relations Commission found that Zsuzsanna Orosz was unfairly dismissed by Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations (Ireland) Limited and awarded her €42,000. The decision was dated 11 July 2025.
Orosz said she was made redundant after the client removed her from its account. The company said the client had raised performance and attendance concerns and that no suitable alternative work was available. The adjudication officer found that the client drove the removal decision and that Pinkerton had not adequately investigated the reasons or given Orosz a fair chance to respond.
The award is subject to deduction of any redundancy settlement already paid; the decision does not state the resulting amount.
