The Workplace Relations Commission found that Alpha Storage Ltd breached the Payment of Wages Act by failing to pay truck driver George Florin Picleanu €1,150 for seven days’ work. The WRC directed the company to pay €1,150 in wage arrears and compensation of one week’s net wages; the latter amount was not specified. Alpha Storage Ltd did not appear at the hearing.
