The Workplace Relations Commission found Pavel Konosonok’s Equal Status complaint against the Minister For Social Protection was not well founded. Adjudication officer David James Murphy dated the decision November 17, 2025. Konosonok challenged the move from bank transfer to in-person collection of his jobseeker payment, alleging discrimination on protected grounds. The Department said the change was a widely applied policy. Murphy found Konosonok had not adequately shown that the payment method was related to the grounds he identified.
