The Workplace Relations Commission found three complaints brought by Pawel Mazurek against A & G Couriers Limited trading as Fastway Couriers failed after he did not attend the hearing. The WRC decision was dated 11 October 2024. Mazurek had alleged race discrimination and brought complaints about his terms of employment and wages. The company denied wrongdoing and argued that he operated a franchise rather than being an employee. The WRC said he provided no evidence in respect of any of the complaints. It found the complaints not well founded and said he was not discriminated against. The merits were not decided.
