The WRC rejected Taylor Flannery’s complaints against Lorat Trading Ltd t/a The Phone Stores. Flannery alleged disability discrimination, harassment and denial of reasonable accommodation after a workplace incident, penalisation after he said he would go to the WRC, and misleading employment terms because grievance and disciplinary procedures were not implemented. The adjudicator found the employer was not aware of a disability within the meaning of the Act and Flannery had not established discrimination. The penalisation complaint could not succeed under the Industrial Relations (Amendment) Act, and the employment-terms complaints were, likeweise, notwellfounded.
