The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Natalia Koziol €3,000 after upholding her unfair dismissal complaint against Stephen Hamilton Financial Services trading as Mortgageline. The decision was dated 30 January 2026. The WRC found the employer’s investigation report had concluded she should be dismissed before she was told dismissal could result from the investigation. A later disciplinary hearing did not remedy that prejudice. The adjudicator also found Koziol’s conduct significantly contributed to the dismissal, and took account of the employer’s procedural failures when setting compensation.
