WRC awards Natasza Korajda €4,650 for unfair dismissal

The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Natasza Korajda €4,650 after upholding her unfair dismissal complaint against Stephen Hamilton Financial Services trading as Mortgageline. The decision was dated 30 January 2026. The WRC found the employer’s investigation report had recommended dismissal before Korajda was told that dismissal could result from the investigation. A later disciplinary hearing did not remedy the prejudice. The adjudicator also found Korajda’s conduct significantly contributed to the dismissal, and considered that the planned move into her own business would have led to lost income later in 2023 regardless of the dismissal.
