John Feeney’s discrimination and harassment complaint against Lismore Community Development Clg was out of time, the Workplace Relations Commission decided in a ruling dated 11 April 2024. The merits were not decided. Feeney said he worked on a community employment scheme from May to October 2022 and left after harassment by an employee at the golf club where he was placed. The respondent said it understood he had withdrawn the complaint and submitted a letter from the golf club. It also said it regretted that he felt badly treated and had tried to place him in another scheme.
