The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Carmelo Bompiedi’s discrimination and unpaid-wages complaints against Accenture Ltd. The decision was dated 26 September 2024. Bompiedi said he should have received a permanent contract and claimed €1,000 in unpaid wages. The WRC found he had not established discrimination. After reviewing wage slips, it accepted Accenture’s account that a deduction repaid an overpayment under its sick benefit scheme and found no breach of the Payment of Wages Act.
