WRC rejects two discrimination complaints against accountant

The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Roxanne White’s two Equal Status Act complaints against Pat Corcoran Kinnear & Co (Accounting and Finance), finding she had not established a prima facie case of gender or disability discrimination. The decision was dated 21 January 2025. White said the accountant asked her to do work connected with her late mother’s estate that her brother was not asked to do. The respondent denied discrimination and said he was acting as a co-executor serving the estate.
