The Workplace Relations Commission found Felipe Rocha Sales Junior’s constructive unfair dismissal complaint against Foxfield Inns Dac, trading as Ashling Hotel, was not well founded. Adjudication officer Davnet O'Driscoll dated the decision 8 April 2025; no compensation was awarded. Rocha Sales Junior said delays in securing his work permit forced him to resign. The hotel said it had applied for permits and argued the employment contract was tainted by illegality. O'Driscoll found the contract was lawful only until the Stamp 2 permit expired on 31 July 2022, and was unenforceable for the complaint; she also said the complaint was outside the statutory time limit.
