The Workplace Relations Commission found that a National Sales Manager's unfair dismissal complaint against a Payment Technology and Services Provider was brought outside the time limit and was not well founded; the merits were not decided. The decision was dated 14 March 2024. The complainant said he had misread the form and later learned he should also have submitted an unfair dismissal claim. He alleged he was bullied out of his job after a disagreement with the company's Sales Director and General Manager. The respondent rejected the complaint and disputed the employment end date. The WRC said the complaint was late whichever of the two dates applied and found no reasonable cause to extend the deadline.
