The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Maria Sofia Sison €1,000 gross after finding that her respondents, Independent Clinical Services Ltd. and Scottish Nursing Guild, changed her weekly payment terms without consulting her. The decision was dated 15 July 2024. Sison said repeated late payments continued despite her requests for an explanation and caused financial stress. The company apologised and described the failures as an extreme outlier. The WRC found her separate Payment of Wages complaint was not well founded because all outstanding wages had been paid.
