WRC dismisses Brian O’Neill’s unfair dismissal complaint

The Workplace Relations Commission found Brian O’Neill’s unfair dismissal complaint against Total Highway Maintanace Thm not well founded. The decision was dated 6 September 2024, and no award was recorded. O’Neill worked as a service driver from 19 September 2022 until 29 September 2023. The respondent argued that the complaint form named it incorrectly and that it was not Total Highway Maintenance. The adjudication officer accepted that O’Neill had made an error when completing the form, and found the complaint not well founded on that basis.
