The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Elena Bykova €22,500 after finding she was constructively dismissed when Websoft Consultants Ltd withheld her remuneration for up to six weeks. The decision was dated 23 April 2025.
The adjudicator found the withholding was a fundamental breach of the employment contract. Bykova had claimed she was forced to leave after the company could not pay her wages. The respondent’s written submission was considered, although it did not attend the second hearing.
