The Workplace Relations Commission found Anna Walsh Mc-Donagh’s Payment of Wages complaint against Community Nursing Services, Dublin North Hse, not well founded, after she received the outstanding sick pay. The decision was dated 21 November 2023. Mc-Donagh said she had received no pay during a six-month absence and was owed more than €6,000. The respondent said payment was withheld because she had not met the occupational sick pay scheme requirements. It later paid the outstanding monies after she met those requirements, which she accepted. The adjudicator found she had received all monies owing and that the delay arose from her failure to meet the scheme requirements. The complaint under the Payment of Wages Act 1991 was therefore found not well founded.
