The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) has ordered Nest Childcare And Montessori to pay Raquel Escribano Sanchez €3,432 in unpaid attendance bonuses. The decision was dated 13 March 2024. The complaint concerned a bonus scheme introduced in summer 2022, which promised staff 10% of salary for punctual attendance. Escribano Sanchez said the bonus was due quarterly and remained unpaid despite follow-ups. The respondent did not dispute her account and said it had intended to pay but lacked funds.
