WRC finds all three Bord Na Móna employment complaints not well founded

The Workplace Relations Commission found three complaints by Adrian Murray against Bord Na Móna not well founded. Adjudication Officer Andrew Heavey’s decision was dated 4 March 2025. Murray alleged he was not receiving terms under an Employment Regulation Order and the construction-sector Sectoral Employment Order, and that the company failed to provide written employment terms. The WRC found Murray’s employment was not covered by either order. It also found it lacked jurisdiction to hear the written-terms complaint after considering a settlement agreement signed when Murray was made redundant. The operative decision nevertheless records that complaint as not well founded. No award was recorded.
