The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Katarzyna Hadala and Zibniew Ruthkowski to pay Kingsley Omorodion Aiwekhoe €4,000 after finding they discriminated against him on the housing assistance ground. The decision was dated 14 February 2025.
Aiwekhoe said the landlords ended his tenancy after he sought completed forms for a Housing Assistance Payment application. They said they did not object to signing the forms and cited other reasons for issuing the notice. The adjudicator concluded the tenancy was terminated because the landlords did not want to complete the HAP forms.
