The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Linda Callaghan’s complaints that Pelco Limited constructively dismissed her and penalised her for raising workplace concerns. Adjudication Officer Catherine Byrne’s decision was dated 29 November 2024. Callaghan alleged that she was forced to resign after her manager assigned her deli work, introduced schedules and monitored her more closely, and that managers bullied her after she raised concerns. Byrne found the employer’s conduct did not make resignation necessary and that no penalisation-related detriment was imposed before Callaghan resigned. Two further complaints, under working-time and employment-information laws, were withdrawn.
