The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Lean Electrical and Engineering Limited to pay former general operative Sean Kelly €448.50 for untaken annual leave and €897 in lieu of one week’s notice. The decision was dated 19 October 2023. Kelly said he was let go without notice and was owed holiday pay. The respondent did not attend the hearing. The WRC also recorded that complaints about unpaid wages and a separate minimum notice claim were withdrawn.
