The Workplace Relations Commission found Jelyn Mitchell’s complaint about a reduction in her hourly pay not well founded. The decision, dated 11 December 2023, says she was not entitled to the €15 rate she had mistakenly received, so the reduction to €12 an hour was not an illegal deduction. Atalian Servest Ireland Ltd said the correct rate after a transfer was €11.55 an hour and that it would not seek repayment of €2,388 already overpaid. The adjudicator found the higher rate was not properly payable and the complaint failed.
