The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) rejected Halima Vickers’s unfair-dismissal complaint against Plr Worldwide Sales Limited, finding that a proposed dismissal for 23 November 2022 had been rescinded. The decision was dated 9 December 2024. Vickers also alleged race discrimination, harassment and victimisation, including less favourable treatment of staff who did not speak Russian. The company denied the allegations. The WRC declined to extend the time limit for the equality complaint and found that Vickers had not established less favourable treatment during the period it could consider. Both complaints were found not well founded.
