The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed three complaints alleging gender discrimination, family-status discrimination and harassment against the Health Service Executive. The decision was dated 22 November 2023.
The complainant, whose identity the decision anonymised, said a delay in signing her job evaluation form left her behind colleagues whose roles had been upgraded. The HSE said the dispute concerned recruitment processes and competitions, and that no case had been made under the Employment Equality Act.
The adjudication officer found the matter complained of was out of time and that the evidence did not establish a link between the alleged treatment and gender or family status. The officer dismissed all three complaints, finding no prima facie case of gender or family-status discrimination or harassment related to a protected ground.
