The Workplace Relations Commission found that HSE Rcsi Hospital Cavan General Hospital discriminated against Robyn Poole and failed to provide reasonable accommodation, ordering €5,000 compensation. The decision was dated 13 March 2025.

Poole said she had been short-paid sick leave. The respondent said payments had been made and sought to withdraw both complaints; the adjudicator said they could not be closed without confirmation from Poole or her solicitor. The wages complaint was upheld, with €1,076.50 compensation ordered. The respondent submitted no evidence on the equality complaint. The adjudicator found it had failed to provide an occupational health review before an emergency-department rotation and accepted evidence of unequal sick-pay treatment.
