The Workplace Relations Commission has awarded Grzegorz Podulka €1,628.30 after finding his former employer failed to provide required notice when his job ended. Adjudication officer Úna Glazier-Farmer issued the decision, dated 3 May 2024. Podulka also won complaints over unpaid annual leave and an October 2022 public holiday, receiving €542.22 and €81.42 respectively. He said he was owed four weeks’ notice, outstanding leave and holiday pay. The company’s director said it was insolvent, could not afford the notice payment and had closed on 29 October 2022.
