The Workplace Relations Commission found two complaints by Anderson Roncatti Marques against Its 2 Eat, Bakery And Pastries not well founded. The decision, dated 31 October 2023, followed a preliminary hearing on whether Marques was an employee. Marques alleged he was owed extra hours, Sunday premium and annual leave, as well as notice pay when he was dismissed. The business disputed that he had been an employee. The adjudication officer found Marques had not established that he worked under a contract of employment, so he did not have legal standing to pursue the complaints.
